I was going through my Friendster list and I realised many of my friends got married. But I still have yet to attend a wedding! I mean, those which are not family or neighbours or stuff like that. The ones where I personally know the bride/groom and can make fun of them. You see, at this age, when everyone is getting married, I should be complaining of the tonnes of wedding I have to attend. But nooooooo, I have to pester everyone around me to get married. And when they actually do, I can't attend the weddings. If you're in a stable relationship, chances are, I've hinted/suggested/asked/forced you to get married. But no luck so far in getting one around Chicago. I'm not in a relationship now, so don't throw me those "You get married la, then you can attend your own wedding". Hello, I want to attend YOUR wedding, not MINE. I don't want to spend ages planning. I just want to be able to torture the groom with wasabi-laden crackers, soy sauce shots and jalapeno snorts. Then collect some money in return and at night, get to dress up and have dinner on your important night. Sounds fun right?? Someone get married quick!
